Research evaluating the impact of the Armed Forces Covenant
Shared Intelligence has been commissioned by Forces in Mind Trust to undertake research to evaluate the impact of the Armed Forces Covenant. It is looking into Covenant-related activity amongst councils and other public sector organisations. This research is similar to Our Community, Our Covenant which was published five years ago, but will go into more depth. It will focus on six policy areas: housing, education, children’s services, adult social care, employment and health.
The aim of this survey is to understand the perception across the charity sector of the disadvantage the Armed Forces Community face in comparison to the general population. We are also interested in understanding your views of the action that public sector organisations take to deliver the Covenant generally and in relation to the 6 policy areas outlined above. Finally we would like to explore your perceptions around impact of the Covenant in reducing disadvantage.
Due to the wide focus, it will take around 30 minutes to complete. It is possible to save your answers and return to the survey from the same device, this should happen automatically. You might find it easier to prepare your answers using a Word document and then upload onto the online survey. If this is the case, then please get in touch with Nelly Jones at the email below.
We ask that you complete the survey by Friday 25 February using the following link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ococ3charitysurvey. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Nelly at Shared Intelligence on eleanor.jones@sharedintelligence.net.
