Service honours West Lothian heroes of Korean War
A special wreath laying service took place recently at the Korean War Memorial in the Bathgate Hills.
The annual rededication service marked 71 years since the end of what is often referred to as the ‘forgotten war’ and honoured those who served.
Organised by the Korean War Memorial Trustees with those in attendance including Vice Lord-Lieutenant for West Lothian, Caroline MacLachlan and local veterans, some of whom served in the Korean War.
Proceedings were conducted by the Reverend Dr Karen K Campbell, National Chaplain, The Royal British Legion Scotland.
