You can contact Jobcentre Plus about:
Whilst I appreciate that we are a general national job board, our search software is designed for anyone looking for a job; so whilst we do not specialise in a certain area of the job market, our search software is programmed to search every job category. For instance, a Veteran with specialist experience in mechanical engineering wanting to use his skills in a commercial setting for a defence contractor would simply insert “defence” in the “find a job box” and can leave the area blank for a national search or insert a specific geographic area in the location box. The search can be refined to mechanical engineer, defence, or simply mechanical engineer; it just depends on the job seekers skills and how he/she intends using them.
