What We Do

We recognise that for many Veterans and their families, aspects of life after leaving the Services can be challenging.  With over 50 Veterans’ organisations in Scotland alone, we understand that it can be frustrating to find just the right person to help with a problem.   For those who work in Veterans support organisations, please check out the Resources tab; there may be something useful for you there and because we are not perfect, there may be some resources and organisations that we have missed.  Because when Veterans work together, they make life better for Veterans.

We aim to enhance the welfare of the veterans community in Scotland by acting as the prime vehicle for: joint working between its member charities; for the dissemination of information to its members and the coordination of joint approaches to UK; Scottish Government; Local Authorities and other organisations whose business is of benefit to veterans. The links above will take you to some areas of Information and Advice that may be of assistance. Further information, assistance and guidance on a range of subjects affecting the veterans community is available on the Veterans Assist Scotland site.

Here's what you need to know about Veterans Scotland - Scotland's membership charity for the Armed Forces community.

Veterans Scotland’s aim is to establish cooperation and coordination between Veterans Organisations in Scotland, to act as a focal point for all matters concerning the ex-Service community within Scotland and to represent these matters to Government at all levels.
